Grey denim skirt from jean paul gaultier's jean paul gaultier jean's line (late 90s - early 00s). Made from medium weight cotton denim fabric, it has an uneven, distressed surface with sections of (deliberate) fading etc. The skirt is made to imitate a denim skirt that has been reconstructed from shorts, with a 'gusset' inserted at the front and a darker section on the back where a 'back pocket' might originally 'have been'. An impersonation but quite a good one! Also features signature exterior hanging tab at center back, this time in branded "JPG JEAN'S" fashion.
Cut is gently flared, and sits slightly above / around the knee depending on wearer's height.
